Enjoy the steak! It's not supposed to rain but you know how that goes. It sure looks like it will. This time of year around here rain is common. As mentioned before, I *do* read all posts here except for the obvious trolls. Two examples are the recent crossposting discussions between the Rev and his gang. Also the troll of past (not current) that follows Steve and Marty sometimes. I don't killfile them, I just skip over their posts. All others I read as even the annoying ones make a valid post sometimes. If you use a killfile, you will miss the good ones. It's obvious you've had sw in your killfile for a long time. I don't why and it's none of my business but if you're here for cooking posts, you are missing out on a lot of good meal descriptions with pictures. That guy can cook better than you and I put together. :-D G. |

I think you're doing the > right thing not reading him. Not worth it. I definitely did NOT quote him to "get to" Jill. I like Jill, dammit. You should not just assume things, Cheryl. Earlier, I "gently" scolded Bryan for his harsh comment about Mormons. I said, "There ya go again, Bryan. LOL! ;-D" I often pick on Bryan when he goes off like that. This time, I kept my comment a bit nicer. Then when he went off on Jill, I quoted my same line to scold him that time too. "There ya go again, Bryan. LOL! ;-D" Keep in mind too....when Bryan wrote that rude comment, Jill had already posted twice saying not so nice things about him. Of course he got mad at her. If you know Bryan, he lashes out to the extreme. He likes shock value. It's in his music too. This is just Bryan. Going by Jill's comments about Bryan, she must be reading all his posts. How am I supposed to know who she has in her killfile? I quoted what he said assuming she already read it. She started it though. You be nice to Bryan and Bryan will be nice to you. G. PS - I also wish you quick foot-healing! :-D |

Bryan is a valid member of this group, like him or not. I've always heard that RFC is not for the thin-skinned but this killfile thing , and complaining about people that respond to someone in their killfill, is really getting out of hand. Killfile anyone you want to but don't expect me to not respond to them. They aren't in MY killfile. I read all posts and I get to see the good side of everyone here. Remember too, Jill...you started it with Bryan...two not very nice comments about him. Naturally he's going to "go after you" for that. And I scolded him for saying it in that manner. I was sticking up for you, dammit. >:0\ G. |

I did the most of the cooking on the grate over a burner that wasn't on. It gets hot enough across the whole grill top that I only need to turn on one burner. I usually finish the meat over direct heat to get a char on it. So even though this Porterhouse was an inch thick, I overcooked it to well done. It was still juicy and not at all dried out so I enjoyed it, but it made me wish for my normal doneness, rare. With steak though I take a high heat method. I crank up the burners and the sear station. Once well heated, I put the steak on for three minutes, flip, wait three minutes. For a 1" steak, that is usually enough, but thicker ones I;ll leave on low heat a bit longer. I take them off the grill at 110 degrees. |

Taking some info from your emergency, it bothers me that this is my neuropathy foot. The doctor said the soaking in very hot water would increase circulation to the area and might cause pus to rise to the surface and need to be drained. As we know, neuropathy causes circulation problems. I just got done soaking for the 3rd time today and can feel a pulse in my foot so I hope that means circulation. I'll get it checked again tomorrow. -- ღ.¸¸.œ«*¨`*œ¶ Cheryl |

All I know is that when the podiatrist told me to soak it in the warm water with Epsom Salts, the infection drained right out. Then again, I had a slightly open wound. |
