One half of that can go to England, the remainder gets divided into 3 islands so Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland can get an island of their own. You guys might like that. I don't know. Last year the compost was absolutely teeming with worms. Nothing that I can see this spring, and I shoveled out the whole bin and forked it back in. Oh, well. nancy |

There is not much difference. Rotting in the breakdown of complex components of organic matter into smaller components. Fermentation is the breakdown one element of the matter, the sugar. |

My dad's compost pile smelled like cow pies. Our little dog would always get in it and then I would have to bathe her. I don't think he did what he was supposed to like turning it over. He just dumped stuff in there. Mostly grass clippings. |

Our slang mostly goes about as far back as the beginning of the space and internet age. I suspect that the security lady at the Manchester Airport might want to be one of us. I am of the belief that she kept my Hawaii driver's license. I saw her at the gate later on, accompanied by 2 officers wearing bullet-proof vests and carrying what looked to be AR-15s. So much for the notions that cops in the UK do not carry arms. It looked like something big was going down and that perhaps it was a bad time to bring up the matter of my drivers license. Well I sure hope she enjoys it. > > > > > > > -- > > http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/shop/ |
