We live in a small town with a few fried chicken restaurants, and
somebody always has 8 pieces of chicken for $3.99. If you like fried
chicken, this is hard to pass up.

My husband would be first in line. I do like cold fried chicken (and
potato salad) on a hot day though. Don't ask me why. It's probably
something we ate during the summer time when I was a kid.

I have a distinct memory of someone bringing cold fried chicken
drumsticks to a church picnic. It was so good, and I'll happily
eat leftover fried chicken any day. No need to heat it up.

Especially if you have a salt shaker handy. YMMV. :-D

Ditto. On the rare occasions I make fried chicken, I always make sure
to cook extra for a cold breakfast the next day. I'll eat it
standing in the kitchen over the sink.
