Nothing wrong with his plate but he's the one that harped on the
visual effect on food. That busy plate clashes with any food on the
plate. He would do better putting his meals on a plain (white?) plate
for good presentation. imo

OUCH! hahaha

And you wonder why many here won't post pics of their food?

Gee, Gary, aren't you drooling over how that food was presented?

It's Sheldon who insists everyone take pics of their food then nit-picks
them to pieces. I agree with Steve, it looks like the chicken cutlets
stuck to the pan. Needed a bit more oil in that pan, dude. The egg
noodles appear to be a little green. Can't blame that on the brussels
sprouts.

It might be OK as a stand alone, but it's too busy to be a presentation
plate.

The plate is fine, it's that it takes away from the food because the plate
is way too busy.

Sorry, Cheri - that thing wouldn't even work as an ornament on the

Sheldon must not care much about himself with such lousy presentation.

Well....his food looked quite tasty to me but it's that busy plate
decor that distracts from a good presentation, imo.

No worries. We just agree on that one. Sounds like many here do. :-D

His actual meal looked very good to me.

If you don't like his plate just use your favorite graphics editing program (PaintShop or whatever) and change the plate to plain white.

Problem solved and takes just minutes to do.

Sheldon is not going to change...he's getting set in his ways IMO, so you'll have to change things for him.

I still say the chicken looked like whatever coating there may have been
stuck to the pan. I want to see a pic of the pan. LOLOL j/k

It's all too silly, this insisting on photos. I won't be doing it
anymore. I'd rather just cook, eat and enjoy it.

Actually they stuck to each other after they were cooked, from being
stored in the fridge stacked pressed together.

That's true. I prefer plain plates if I'm going to eat from them.

Actually not, all three ingredients were cooked separately and then
combined in one pot. The error I made was to fry the chicken the day
before and store it in the fridge with all the pieces jammed together
like a deck of cards, the flour coating glued them together like
gorilla glue. Next time I'll prepare the entire dish all at the same
time and then store the left overs in the fridge. In fact I still
have some but it doesn't stick with all the butter. But it tasted
fine, buttered egg noodles with brussel sprouts is a good combination
even without the chicken, actually a better tasting classier version
of po' folk noodles and cabbage. I used frozen brussel sprouts, half
a 56 oz bag and a 12 oz bag of extra wide egg noodles, about 4 lbs
chicken, and 1/8 lb butter... for seasoning I used s n'p and dried
dill weed. I cooked the noodles and sprouts separately, two different
cooking times and methods... the sprouts said to put them in a pot,
cover with water, bring to a boil, and boil just three minutes, next
time two minutes will be plenty. The noodles go into already boiling
water and cook for six minutes. I'm sure boiling them together would
result in a disaster.

Next time I'll season the chicken directly and not use the flour,
really needed no flour with noodles, but when I first prepared the
chicken I didn't have a plan how I'd use it. I have three more
packages of chicken in the freezer, next time I'll nix the flour.

That's why I'd never photograph anything on the china my mom gave me
that was her mother's. It's an amazing full china set complete with
serving pieces and coffee cups with saucers, but it's a very busy
pattern. Not really my style, but they are old and have sentimental value.

I sold my grandmother's china. My maternal grandmother gave it to Mom
and she gave it to me when I was in my 20's. I don't remember my mother
ever using it. I rarely saw my grandmother so I don't know how often
she used it.

I used it once. I just don't like *busy* china. This was
Myotts/Staffordshire Green - Chelsea Bird pattern. Apparently collectible.

Sorry Grandma and Mom, I simply hated that china. It was green! With
peacocks on it! Very Victorian era, which is when Grandma was raised.
Photos or not, I prefer very simple dinnerware. Mine is white.

I think those are pretty!

These are my grandmothers. I purchased china storage containers that
are padded to store them in.

We didn't have China. We had Frankoma pottery. Brown with a frothy edge to
it. Reminded me of root beer. Everything was an odd shape. We ate on the
BBQ plates for special occasions. I hated them. They were huge and
unwieldy. I have searched for pics but can't find any. Can find Frankoma.
Just not those.

I like those as the pattern is around the edge only.

My grandparents china was very busy and decorative too. I keep just a few
pieces on display on the Welsh Dresser.

Yours are pretty! Sorry but I don't want images of birds on my dinner
plates. I also got tired of moving them and trying to find a place to
store them.

And you needed the cash, of course.

The whole set is in pristine condition, but just a little too flowery
for me. Keeping them, though.

A few months ago my sister sent me the complete set of china that Mom
was always so proud of. My sister ended up with it after Mom died.
When she told me she was going to sell it on eBay I flipped and she sent
the set to me. She so very thoughtfully packed every bowl and coffee
cup in the bottom of the box with all the dinner plates.

Sigh.....

Tell the truth - you made two lean cuisines and put them on a plate you got at a garage sale. Jesus, that's grim looking.

Truth is your sister cooked that for me,
then she sucked my dick for her dessert.

So both meals were just as tasty. And I don't have a sister. Honestly, cat lady - look at that picture. It looks like a double portion of nursing home food. Appropriate for you, but nothing to post online. Why the **** are the noodles green?
