One of the few things I have of my mother's is a Revereware 1.5 quart saucepan.
I use it for making oatmeal, or boiling eggs. While I was washing it the other day, the handle came right off. The handle is attached by sheet metal folded around the handle and riveted, with two tabs apparently spot welded to the pot itself. This bit of sheet metal suddenly cracked at both tabs. Because of the sentimental value, I would like to get this repaired. Does anyone have any experience, or any ideas? |

I own two Revere pans of that size, with lids. They also used to make a very small tiny copper clad pan that only held about 1 liquid cup. It was allegedly a butter warmer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/121354677819?lpid=82 Mom had one of those once upon a time. Jill |

Just use a removable handle, such as this. You might also be able to find one in camping stores. http://www.ttnet.net/ttnet/gotoprd/H...3383830333.htm |
