I can't stand the man, but even if I did like him I sure as hell wouldn't want my heart operated on by a surgeon who's operating only on a part time basis. Same thing for Sanja Gupta on CNN. He seems like a nice guy, but I don't want a part time brain surgeon operating on me! -- DreadfulBitch I'm a nobody, nobody is perfect, therefore I'm perfect. |

He was an actual criminal court judge in Memphis, TN. (I lived right outside of Memphis for many years). He got a TV show. The city finally asked him, do you want to be a TV celebrity or an actual judge? You can't do both. So he chose celebrity. Guess where he is now? Pretty much nowhere on both counts. I'd feel the same way about surgeons. Nope, I'm not letting you operate on me when you're thinking about tomorrow's television *script*. Jill |

I like Gupta and I also like Dr. Drew but I don't think I'd want to see them as Drs. |

I have seen his show a few times. He is not my favorite among judges who have shows. |

Moot point now since they cancelled his show. He went back to Memphis and got himself thrown in jail for contempt of court! Jill |

I guess when he went back to work as an attorney he forgot you're not allowed to act like that in court. ![]() http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/24/showbi...-brown-jailed/ Jill |
