Default Ciabatta update

Yes, again. Get over it!

I purchased the Seattle Sourdough Ciabatta rolls again as they were the only
rolls (with ingredients I could eat) that Albertsons had in stock when I
bought them. But this pack was different. 6 pack. The others that I
bought on sale at Central Market were in a 4 pack. Perhaps something special
just for that sale? I think they were advertised as a new item.

This new pack has a totally different texture to the bread. It does have
holes but not nearly as big as the first pack. This bread is not at all
crumbly. I've had it for several days now. Only one roll left and no mold.
I love it and husband loves it.

So... My only conclusion was that the first package that I bought was in
some way not right. Why? I don't know. I would surmise that they needed
make more than usual and in a hurry for the sale and perhaps cut corners
somewhere? Or because it was a new item (if in fact it was, I can't swear
to it but I think so) they hadn't gotten the proverbial bugs worked out of
it.

At any rate, the bread I have now is an excellent product and I will for
sure be buying more if it continues to be like this!

Glad you found one you like!

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.

Me too. I just wish more stores sold it. I was at Target yesterday and
they had nothing even similar. I wound up having to buy cheap hamburger
buns. Not what I wanted but it was either that or hotdog buns.

Not nice sw. She doesn't post her name here. You shouldn't either.

Anyone who thinks he's "nice" needs their head examined.

I never thought he was. Oddly enough from the pic he posted on the website,
he reminds me very much of this kid that I went to high school with. He was
suspended for making a Sterno bomb in English class when we had to
demonstrate how to make or do something. His first name was Steve too.

Fantastic looking food as always, Steve. Again...if you ever open a
restaurant, I'm moving to Austin. :-D
