Default Turmeric Ginger Tea

I love it when I run across delicious things like this. Turmeric
ginger tea. It's a good thing I have plenty of both because I see
myself drinking a lot of this. I bet it would be just as good iced. It
is so wonderful, earthy and a bit spicy

love Mark Sisson and his website and his whole outlook.

I would have to make this in a big amount and refrigerate it for Summer iced tea... I bet it would be good like that.

This sounds really good. I have all the ingredients on hand so will try it
today.

I've mentioned this many times before. Boil or steam some broccoli
then drink the water as tea. It's very tasty and contains most of the
nutrients.

I'd call that a "dreimanner Tee", along the lines of a "dreimanner
Wein": one to drink it, one to hold him down and one to pour it in.

Turmeric is a miracle root that is very useful for a variety of
ailments. It is really effective for sore joints and bones. It is
also high in antioxidants and potential cancer-fighting agents. Ginger
is also an extremely healthy root. I don't usually make a tea, though
- I pound ginger, tumeric, and garlic together with a bit of coconut
oil into a paste and use it on my food as a condiment. Sometimes I
also pound black beans (the Chinese type) in there too.

I've been lucky enough to find fresh turmeric, it freezes well.

Around here all the Asian grocery stores carry it. It's not very
expensive ($8 a pound or so) especially considering that I don't use
much at a time.
