Default Beware summer Sriracha!

Seems that while my house is climbing in temperature from an early
morning 60F to a 90F mid-afternoon buzz-kill, that lil' bottle of
rooster icon'd joy is building jes enough pressure to make my Summer
day a real eye-opener! So, when I twisted that little green cap to
put some crimson goodness on my leftover cottage pie, a nice ruby drop
of hellfire soared upward right into my left eyeball. Yikes!

Fortunately, I was right next to the sink and had plenty of experience
with flooding a painfully open eyeball in a gush of cold water and the
errant droplet was out in a thrice. Whew!

Beware pressurized Sriracha bottles in Summer.

I usta keep in fridge, but can't recall all the reasons I no longer
do. Don't want cold sriracha, for one. Howzabout I jes don't open it
near my eyeball.

Surely given the amount you are likely to use, it can hardly matter
whether sriracha is cold or hot.

Let's specify how much! I seldom use more than a teaspoon per person and
that much is pretty darned hot even if I like spicy food in general.

That would be too logical.

Yikes, that must have been painful. I am glad you were able to flush it
out, quickly. Grape juice was the worst my eyes have experienced, and
that was my cousin's fault, he squirted it at me.

Kim Chee will bust the glass it's in. "Danger, Will Robinson!"

Sriracha and cottage pie, eh.

Hope you enjoyed after you cleaned out your eyeball.

I was a die hard Frank's fan till I discovered the rooster sauce. Only brand that can be found in the house for the past decade or so.
