Our Colorado peaches come on in real quality and quantity in August. I still have one bag of last years peaches in the freezer, and it will be peach pie for Independence Day. I can hardly wait, and I already bought the french vanilla ice cream to go with it!! Yum! I make a simple, old fashioned Berry Crocker recipe peach pie and we love it.
Happy Holiday to all us Yanks! DaleP |

My mother's birthday was July 24th and she always wanted a peach pie instead of a cake, but it was very difficult to find peaches that early. I usually ended up with peaches that weren't quite ripe enough, or none at all. |

A racoon or an opossum ate all of my peaches (there are 5 left) We will be going to the U-Pick Farm in August to get some O"Henry's. Ah well, that is what we used to do before we planted this tree. Your pie sounds wonderful! Happy Holiday to you! Nellie |

I love peach pie and won't have one for a couple of months when the peaches come in locally. |
