Default New use for an offset spatula

Thursday I was draining an almost empty bottle of some expensive liquid face soap into the new bottle using a small funnel. I left the bottles on the counter for several hours so one could drain into the other and promptly forgot about them. When I got home from work at 4:00 a.m. I went into the darkened kitchen to set down a bag and knocked them over. GRRRRRRRR!

Flipped on the light I'm looking at this puddle and wondering how I can get that expensive soap off the counter and back into the new bottle? Ah-ha! Grab the offset spatula, put the funnel back into the bottle and scrape up that mess. I was able to save 99% of it and then clean up the now small mess.

Never thought that tool could be so handy.
