I sauteed a small yellow minced onion and several cloves of garlic in a little oil. I added them to a pot with a large can of (drained) crushed tomatoes, a little water and the usual herb/seasoning suspects - oregano, basil, sage, a little thyme. Of course, salt & pepper. I had a small zucchini squash which I diced and added towards the end of letting the sauce cook down. I've got leftover sauce for tomorrow and enough for future homemade freezer dinners. ![]() Jill |

If you request a reply to the group, it's certainly not PRIVATE. You made the topic public by asking tert on rfc: "Do you have AC? And what sort of abode do you have? House? Apartment? If apartment are you on an upper floor?" That should be a private email invitation. "Ping: tert in Seattle. Please email me." Then you can discuss it privately, if tert wants to. Jill |

I was at 5 different places today, 2 of which had AC. Big lots had that 20% off sale but then daughter reminded me that they have no AC so we didn't go there. |

I don't personally even care. It was just all these people insisting that I get AC. I wanted someone else who is actually in this area to say whether or not they had it. He or she won't do that so... *shrugs* I don't want them to email me as that info. is not something *I* need to know. Just from what I read, the people who do need it in Seattle live on upper floors of apartments. I had some friends in Seattle but they were not high rise buildings and lived on the 2nd or 3rd floors. They didn't seem to need it. |
