Default my plan of medicine food

Not really working. Though I do like garlic, and eggs... I should
probably put some soy sauce on the rest of them.

She said strawberries have lots of vitamin C. And that may be the
better plan. And they taste good!

Maybe I just need to wait it out... But she is coming here in two days.
Hopefully, she is coming here.

It's the same guy, he even said so. I don't know why, but he added a
! after Gus. I actually think it fits, because he can be so randomly
inappropriate. He's either walking on the edge of sanity or he's a
high functioning autistic, but he seems like a pretty nice guy when
he's not being weird.

He reminds me of a character actor I see from time to time. The
characters he plays always look like a combination serial killer and
mortician to me - but the character turns out to be an ordinary,
lonely, guy. He's creepy looking but seems very nice when he has
lines. That's Gus. Creepy, but nice. Nice and creepy. He knows it
too. I am definitely glad I only interact with him via usenet! LOL!

Something happened and I had to re-enter my info for Usenet... And made
a typo. I figure stet. Those who hate will hate... Those who want to
discuss, will discuss... Those with no sense of humor, will kf.

There seems to be a dearth of humor here... Are people who like cooking
just not into humor? There is a lot of seriousness here... TJ is the
funniest person here, and he's not all that funny.

Humor is very individual and what's funny to some may be a total bomb to
others, but personally I think dsi1 is pretty funny with the comebacks,
without being just plain crude/rude like some.

Yeah...I like dsil. He does a lot of tongue in cheek humor. It must be
an island thing.

G.

PS - I also like Sheldon. Some of his humor doesn't go over well here
but he would be well loved in some other newsgroups. This is just not
the place to say things like that...too many people lack a sense of
humor here and take things way too seriously....for real!

I second the motion, but maybe Hawaiian humor plays to a more
receptive audience on the West Coast.

I don't think all that "crudeness" from Sheldon is in any way humorous, and
it's nothing to do with having no sense of humor. Gutter talk isn't funny to
me, and I didn't like Andrew Dice Clay either.

Well, like I said...RFC is not the place for such humor. Humor is
relative. It's funny to some people but offensive to others. You just
need to pick your audience.

I see Sheldon as a very decent guy. Yeah, he'll joke various people up
to offensive. His opinion might be real too but he's not afraid to say
what he feels. I also suspect that he enhances what he says just
because he knows that it will set some people off. I joke/tease people
often too but if you really know me, you know I'm just teasing you.
Not all people understand that kind of joking.

I laugh at every weird post that he makes. I can see the humor in it.
I've been accused here of sounding like Sheldon. Probably because I
understand him and *get* his humor.

You need to look beyond the offensive to see the cool fellow. He keeps
his property up very nicely and stays active. He loves all animals and
spends lots of money to help them out. I'll bet you his wife and
family loves him to death.

That said, I don't get yesterdays picture of cooking a dozen fried
eggs all at one time unless he's some 500lb pig that eats so much.
(Not that there's anything wrong with it) heheheh

Thank you. Maybe Gary can clue Sheldon in to where his shtick will be
appreciated, so he can haul his sorry ass over there and leave rfc.

If I didn't look beyond offensive, I wouldn't still be reading him at all,
but as I said the other day, I think Sheldon is at his best when he's
talking about cooking, pics of his beautiful surroundings, animals etc. or
even his nice post to Janet Wilder, but I don't care for the rest of the
disgusting talk at all, sort of like people that insist on calling Julie
"bovine" as if it is something witty and wonderful, when it's not, it's just
juvenile and tiresome. I don't killfile, but I mostly skip their posts. No
big.

Brooklyn, TJ, Sqwertz come to mind.

Should I be flattered or frightened that Sqwertz likes to stalk me and
likes to post personal info, and somehow thinks that's clever? Am I the
only one this has happened to? Or, should I feel special?

Btw, it's pretty easy to find out personal information. I don't care
really. But it's strange and juvenile.

I will try to read more of dsi1. I'm more an occasional tourist than
regular, and there often so many posts I get overwhelmed and just have
to pick and choose a thread... Once in a while I try to get creative
with something cooking-wise, and there are helpful people here.

Still working on perfecting pesto salad dressing. Tonight's with
spinach salad was an improvement.

Hated his "humor". Oddly, he was vg in the recent movie Blue Jasmine
though. Didn't expect that.

I visited a garden group for a short time, and he would randomly
actually give some good advice. Though telling me to feed squirrels so
they would not eat my tomatoes was nuts. Maybe it was tongue in cheek.
Hard to know with him. I guess that's his shtick. Kind of Andy
Kaufman-esque at times. Though I found Kaufman a lot more
funny/interesting.

Yeah, I was joking... I crack myself up all the time too. If you can't
make yourself life, well... life can get to be depressing.

Depending on her mood, my gf thinks I'm hilarious, or weird... Maybe
some of both.

On top of being a natural born asshole, his brain was fried years ago
abusing drugs and alcohol.

Feel special. I haven't had that experience. If anything, Steve has
always been courteous and helpful to me.

You didn't? That rings a vague bell, but geez, I don't even remember
the context now. I think I remember you sending me your address, and
sending it off ... have to research it.
