They can't do that with controlled substances, opioids. Trust me, I've
been on them long enough for my back problems to know the limitations of
pharmacies and even the doctors office to send electronically, though
they can call in person to fill a prescription. Not for percoset,
though. That must be in paper form signed by the doctor, and in some
cases it has to be on special script paper to avoid fraud or anything
else to illegally attempt to get medication.

Both pharmacies that didn't have them had pharmacy technicians that were
very rude about it. Wouldn't call to ask around, didn't even suggest
where I could try. It was frustrating.

The dentist office cannot call in or electronically prescribe percoset
as it is a controlled substance and pharmacies require scripts in writing.

Thanks Mary. Yes, no matter how much dental work I've been through, it
is still unbearable pain at times, something you just don't "get used to".

I am pleased it is easier for you, but it shows that if that happens in
future, you should go back to your dentist! You shouldn't suffer like that
again!!!
