It may depend on their options. We have a number of planters, flower boxes and hanging baskets with flowers as well as four different flower and herb garden, several flowering bushes and a lot of wild flowers. We usually only catch glimpses of humming birds. If we move they bolt and go elsewhere and they don't come back right away. |

The ones at our house whir around our heads, drink freely while we (or the dog) are there and come to the window when the feeder needs filling. I think they just have to get used to seeing you in the yard. Janet US |
