You said you had cans of soup. Sorry if I don't keep up with what day
you bought it.

It's obviously not on the east coast but you said you'd eat there. It
sounds like a fast food place to me.

I made a *small* pot of broccoli-cheese soup. About four or five
servings. I'll have some for lunch tomorrow with some toast. And gee,
it was 92° degrees outside today. I eat soup when it's hot.

Yada yada yada, blah blah blah. Beans and whatever. Yes, you're an
adventurist.

You're stupid if you're suggesting I'm senile.

No, your burrito is boring. I'd go crazy if all I ate was beans and
"mexican" food all the time.

Celery doesn't offend me. It's great in soups and stews. I have some
in the freezer as part of a mirepoix for just such use.

I have no problem with most vegetables. I'd be willing to bet I eat
more vegetables than you do. The *only* difference is I prefer them to
be cooked, even if only lightly steamed or sauteed. So, let's start
with the letter A and see what vegetables you will actually eat. Heh.

That's not all I eat all the time. Never said that it was. And the burrito
was not boring.

I don't know if you eat more or not. I despise steamed vegetables. Sautéed
is fine for some. But if they're going to be cooked, then I prefer most to
be roasted. Raw is my favorite though.

Right. Had. Had meaning that they had been bought previously but that I
had nothing in the cans that I wanted to eat at that point in time. I did
not realize that I did in fact have a can of beef barley in the garage.
It's gone now. Eaten.

Right. Only in the PNW. It is fast food but it is mostly prepared from
scratch and it is very fresh. They do not make their own tortillas and they
do use hard shells for the tacos if that is the kind that you want. They
also offer soft tortillas but with a flour tortilla. So not authentic
Mexican in my book but it does taste good.

And I don't. And you probably have AC too.

I never said I was an adventurist.

Raw, cooked, blanched, sauteed, whatever.

What vegetables do you eat? Let's find out, shall we? Asparagus?
Artichokes? Arugula? Avocados? Acorn Squash?

Are we going alphabetically? Okay then. I'll have to look at an online
list as I can't do that in my mind. And some of these are technically
fruits although eaten as vegetables. And some are grains.

Amaranth
Artichoke
Arugula
Bamboo shoots (although not a fave)
Basil
Beans (dried, and all of them)
Beets
Boy Choy
Broccoli (only raw, never cooked)
Cabbage
Caper
Carrot
Cauliflower
Celeriac
Celery
Chayote
Chives
Corn
Cucumber (but only prepared certain ways)
Dandelion
Dill
Edamame
Endive
Escarole
Eggplant (but only prepared certain ways)
Fennel
French Sorrel
Greens of all kinds (although some are best eaten in small quantities in a
mixed salad)
Green beans
Hearts of Palm
Jerusalem Artichokes (but I can't eat because of the gas they produce)
Jicama
Kale
Kholrabi
Lemongrass
Leeks
Lentils (they spike my blood sugar so I try not to eat them but do like
them)
Lettuce (all kinds)
Mushrooms (but only prepared certain ways)
Okra
Olives
Onions (all kinds)
Nopales (although prefer small amounts mixed into other stuff)
Peas
Peanuts
Peppers of all kinds (but not the super hot ones like ghost)
Potato
Pumpkin (only prepared certain ways)
Radish
Radicchio
Rutabagas
Shallots
Snap and Snow peas
Spouts of all kinds (but no longer eat due to food poisoning concerns)
Spinach
Summer Squash
Sweet Potato (but only fixed certain ways)
Taro
Tomatillo
Tomato
Turnip
Yuca
Watercress
Winter Squash (but only prepared certain ways, would really rather avoid
most of it though)

I will not eat asparagus in any way shape or form, nor will I eat avocado.
There are some things I have never eaten. Such as sea vegetables (except
for dulse and didn't like that), ramps, squash blossoms, etc.
