I was and thank you! In that middle world of selling coffee to
everyone, I think they feel it necessary to always invent new
approaches. It's like the descriptive words I've read that are used
in describing some coffees "lemon,white (!) peach, cinnamon" etc. Like
you could taste a white vs. regular peach flavor as part of a coffee
flavor - forgoodness sake!

But yes, people should know the farmer-if possible. Just makes it a
bit more one on one. Should be a more consistent flavor too- because
it's the same person doing it all. --I know some large coffee places-
unnamed- buy Kona and I think the patrons think it is THE Kona when in
fact, the coffee place got a good deal on some less than stellar Kona
that was a good price for a good reason.

But then we are really only farmers and only farm one kind of coffee
in the same place and that hasn't changed in 25 years-this month:)
and that is all I am really qualified to speak to.
