Default 50 After-School Snacks

Some look really good. Some are carby, but most kids don't need to
worry about that for just a snack I wouldn't think.

I doubt that I would ever take the time to make any of those things. In
this house, snacks are simple. A piece of cheese, cottage cheese with or
without fruit, apple slices, baby carrots. Sometimes things like pretzels,
popcorn, purchased bagel chips. But... We tend not to eat very carby
snacks here.

I'd eat the Salsamole.

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them.

We had a neighbor girl whose mom was from South America. She bought steaks
and Costco and fed the girl steak for breakfast every day. Not sure what
else she ate but she was pathetically skinny.

Our snacks were usually apples, carrots or pretzels. We did have popcorn
but that was before bed.

My children ate healthy food, and they were the skinniest kids. My
youngest one also ate a lot of junk food and he was still thin, so maybe
some children need these extra calories.
