I disagree with the author's suggestion, in that I think that it is the not
inspected cheeses that should carry a stamp, a health warning. Those who
are not immune compromised, and feel confident should be free to ignore the
warning. I also disagree with prohibiting the sale of raw milk, but am fine
with warning language, even if it's a bit over-the-top. I often consume very
under-cooked beef and lamb, and somewhat undercooked pork. I am pretty vigilant about undercooked poultry.

Where are all the dead people in Europe who's tragic demise was from a bite
of cheese?

It goes along with the new EU rules about cheeses made with raw milk.
They are all "moded" (which means: stupid) as my kids used to say.

The Canadian government stopped that horseshit years ago after the
Quebec government, that allowed the sale, demonstrated beyond a
shadow of a doubt that the fears regarding raw milk cheese were
totally unfounded. However there are still people who fear raw
milk cheese, probably the same crowd that fears white cheddar.
