Is Yotam Ottolenghi the UK version of Dorie Greenspan? IOW the
current darling of the food bloggisphere, or is there more to it? We
have plenty of big name cookbook writers who own one or more
restaurants, so that can't be it.

That said, I just put this recipe on my To-Do short list.

He's done several TV cooking serie shere, lovely food usually with a
middle eastern influence (or at least, east end of the Med). Plus has
several restaurants in London and writes cookery books. Apart from being
an interesting cook he's also modest, educated cultured and
intelligent.. pleasant relief from some TV cooks here who play street-
laddishness until my teeth grate.

I have two of his cookbooks, Plenty and Jerusalem and I love them. His
recipes have always been successful.
I'm not a big cookbook buyer so I'm very selective of which ones I
get. I don't regret getting them at all. I see he has another one out
and another one due out in Oct. I will buy those for sure.

That's how I feel about Ottolenghi, but I see him mentioned with high
accolades in a couple of the food groups I belong to. I'm expecting
to see a "cooking with Yotam" (ala French Fridays with Dorie) type
food blogger undertaking before too long.
