I have. For a number of years we used to attend readings of A
Christmas Carol and one of the readers was Anna Olsen. She used to
bring desserts to be served after the reading. They were incredible. I
have to say that she looks a whole heck of a lot better in real life
than she does on TV.

Most of us who read the original recipe, which koko was kind enough to
post, realized it was a lousy recipe from the start. Forget about the
fact you can't get coating to adhere to chicken, that's your own unique
problem. The recipe is just a bad one and you fell for it.

That's typical of a facebook recipe. People post them in hopes of you
clicking the link for the full recipe.

Hey! That's what I was going to say! Yup, there are some really
raunchy recipes posted on FB and making the rounds. I haven't seen too
many good ones that I'd want to try.

You should probably include your DH and DD in your cooking and let them
taste for seasoning since you can't. they might like it better.

Oh for crying in the beer! I talk to people in her family. She is from the
dance studio where they frequently have potlucks. I have only tasted
perhaps a couple of things that she made over the years, but many others
have tasted a lot of things and they all say that she is a really good cook!

It's obviously not just me as several other people reported the same
problem. 3 cups of cheddar on 4 chicken breasts? You try to get that to
stick. It won't.

Last night there was one that looked to a layer of peanut butter then Oreos
and something else. Not interested so didn't look beyond the pic.

They can't be bothered. But seasoning wasn't the big issue here.

Yes. That's what I meant. Once in a while I can get daughter to taste
something but she is never any help. Just says that she doesn't know.

Chicken makes Julie very ill.
So Julie also has this very rare allergy.

I have a thing for summer savory, and generally substitute it for
marjoram. Not that I don't like marjoram, but I've become really
fond of savory. My son loves my faux chicken gravy made with it.

I don't think the point of using 3 cups is for all three cups to actually
stick to the chicken but to have enough to dredge the chicken in
appropriately. When dredging something in flour do you expect all of the
flour to stick? No.

But flour is considerably cheaper than cheese. And seriously, very little
cheese stuck. Maybe 6 shreds per top side. All of what was on the bottom
fell off as it baked.

Julie, I'm just not sure why you decided to try it knowing others gave

*sigh*

I hadn't clicked on the link and hadn't read the reviews prior to making it.
I only saw the part that was on Facebook. I later went to their website
rather than clicking on the link. I guess I just didn't notice the link.
But the recipe is all over the Internet.
