Nantucket Pie
I have wanted to make Nantucket Pie ever since I first heard about it, but haven't because I'm the only person in this household who likes cranberries. However, it just occurred to me that I could use any fruit or berry. Not sure if it would still be called "Nantucket", but I'm wondering if anyone here does a variation on the theme? http://www.kingarthurflour.com/blog/...r-red-october/ -- Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them. |

Delicious! When we got home I had to hunt down a recipe so I could replicate it. Sorry, it's definitely not from Nantucket. ;) You could add crab, scallops, whatever. Jill |

I am SURE there was sherry in the white sauce. Mmmmm. Of course, all the restos have gotten skimpy with the lahbstah. |
