Default Speaking of chocolate

Yesterday we were getting some stuff at Home Sense, and they often have
Lindt chocolate bars on sale. I had previously had some of their chili
chocolate and really liked it. They didn't have any of that available,
even at regular price, but they had some with Wasabi. It sounded
interesting, so I bought one. It was an interesting experiment. I will
offer some to my friends and it might save me from having to eat it. I
will gladly get the chili chocolate again, but will take a pass on the
wasabi stuff.

I had a similar experience at World Market last year. There were lots
of variations, fortunately in sample sizes (I didn't have to commit to
a full sized bar) - so I bought a salted chocolate and chili
chocolate... the chili had a name, probably ancho. I thought I'd love
the salted chocolate and not like the chili chocolate, but I was
surprised. I loved the chili chocolate and hated the salted.

I have tried salted chocolate and like it... not as much as the chili. I
won't say don't try the wasabi... but you have been warned.

I find I don't care for chocolate with lavender in/on it. I LOVE a
small amount of salt in chocolate though, and may make a salted
chocolate truffle for my Christmas Candy! It's much like the chocolate
covered bacon I made a test batch of, YUM!!

Interesting combination, hard to imagine the taste.

We have a locally made cheese here with lavender in it, surprisingly
(to me at least) it's delicious... It *does* make you fart a lot
though, I've noticed http://www.ashgrovecheese.com.au/

I just didn't care for it. Waste of good chocolate, to me.

He fancies himself a chocolatier...

I like a spritz of lavender scented water on my pillow. It helps me
sleep. Lavender in chocolate, nope.

TMI! probably the cheese, not the lavender. LOL

I'm not into heat for the sake of heat and Wasabi is usually just
green horseradish, so... meh.

It's the smell of wasabi that puts me off sushi bars. As a result, I
can't be bothered with sushi at all.

Would never have thought of cheese. Had some lavender ice cream though
and it was pleasant enough.

Well, it seems to be the only cheese that does it to me, so...

I've heard of that. Sounds alright, actually.
