I'll probably have to mark the pan, it's a mini loaves pan and will make 8 or 10 loaves of whatever I'm baking, so I can remember which loaf has what particular ingredient in it.

And there is a package of ground pork in the freezer that could be thawed and added to the hamburger. This might turn out to be an interesting week-end experimenting with all the loaves and ingredients.

Buy a meat grinder, not expensive, certainly costs a lot less than a
food processor... a food processer can't grind, it'll ruin good meat.

Looks nice and 'crip-sy' around the edges.

Meat loaf is a staple around here in the winter. I've been making them individually, tho. Bakes up faster and no cool-down time wasted in the slicing.
I place em on a cooking rack which is covered with perforated foil, then on a cookie sheet. Easy cleanup and the fat runs thru to the cookie sheet.

Best part of meat loaf is those nice cold slabs for a quick sandwich the next day.

Reminds me of old teenage admonition: "Don't let your meat loaf." (ducks and runs)

I love meat loaf too. Odd that I haven't made one in years. It's on my
"to do soon" list right below lasagna and chili. I used to take
meatloaf sandwiches to work the next day but.....very meh, imo. I
prefer to heat up the leftovers for another hot meatloaf dinner.

Kefta is the only type of meatloaf that is worth eating. That ketchup
stuff sucks ass.

"Groupie"?? Somebody who happens to like a band is not a groupie. Even someone who is a huge fan of a *group* is not likely to be a groupie. A groupie is a person, which is very likely female, and likes to have sex
with guys in musical groups, very often (I'd even contend, *most* often)
with more than one of them at a time. Often, the music is also irrelevant.

So, unless your mother was someone who sought out men who *play well
together* for group sex, she was almost certainly not a "groupie."
