Default Love my salads

A late but very tasty lunch. A salad with romaine and micro greens,
the last of the meatloaf, heirloom cherry tomatoes, olives, radish,
broccoli, carrot and pepitas; drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive
oil.

I was low on salad stuff. There was a bit of lettuce. Not really enough
for three salads so they're all very small. I had to pad them out with
shallots, red pepper, and celery. Normally I would have put tomato in mine
but there is enough tomato in the meatballs. I also put black olives on the
salads. I ordered two kinds of celery for the coming week. Red and green.

Salads are good stuff. I recently opened a 5 year old 2 pound gigantic
can of anchovies in salt. They stank but in just the right way, so I
was inspired to grab a stale crust of bread, make it into croutons in
the oven, and then chop up a bunch of romaine and veggies just so I
could enjoy a proper Caesar dressing made with the stinky little jewels.

Did you make or buy your salad?
