Default Mayacoba beans. Yum!

I just got around to trying these in a soup. They cooked quicker than what
it said on the package. I used the quick soak method and they were tender
at one hour and ten minutes. I added two yellow onions, one green bell
pepper, two Roma tomatoes, two ribs of celery and a handful of baby carrots.
All vegetables were chopped. Also added three crumbled strips of cooked
bacon. Seasoned with salt, pepper, parsley, bay leaf, garlic, cumin, chili
powder and cilantro. A goodly squirt of lemon juice finished it off.

I will be buying more of these tomorrow. I like them better than Navy
beans!
