Last week, it was just awful looking, but I think I hit it just right today. They usually put a rack with bags of reduced veggies out after 10:00 A.M too. and I'm not usually there at that time, but today I was. Nice squash, tomatoes, eggplant etc. for .69 a bag. I love when that happens especially with the lamb for the stew. :-) Cheri |

Once in a while a package or two of meat. Never any produce. I have gotten cheap cheese and other things at Target. But they are far enough away that going there more than once a week isn't an option for me. |

S-Mart where I am usually does the reduced vegetable thing just about every day after 10:00, my friend shops later like that and gets some pretty good stuff, I'm not usually out in the stores that late in the morning. They do the reduced meat about 3 times a week, sometimes it's good and sometimes not. Here, they never reduce bakery goods and things like that, the Salvation Army truck picks them up a couple of times a week. Cheri Cheri |
