Default Deal of the day from Amazon 50% off Kitchen Aid

There are lift bowl mixers half off. Today only, if anyone is interested.
Other items as well.

Those are probably mixers that had their gears replaced with
metal gears. Great deal!

If I needed a stick blender, I would get one of those, too.

Amazon is having a fire sale on their new Fire Phone. It's sold unlocked for $229 which includes a year of Amazon Prime. It's a premium phone that used to be sold for $645 but the report is that they've got to unload 5 million of these things. It could be a great phone if you like to order stuff from Amazon.com. I'm hoping to load Android 5.0 into mine.

Thank you for giving link to an article that we can read or not as we
choose. I always like to keep up with what is being done or written
about the food we eat.

I'll give you that as it's about what I would consider spending
on a stick blender, but I liked all the doodads that came with it.

You'd probably spend about the price of the whole appliance new
to replace that mini chopper.
