I have never had a website at Frontier. I have had websites prior. I would
urge people here not to click on anything there. I have no clue what it is.
Someone has obviously taken a page that I had put up 4 years ago on Verizon
but beyond that, I have no clue.

Julie...admit it...those are your PAGES...so don't keep denying that you had anything to do with the production of same. If they are on another site it doesn't excuse your involvement. Frontier or whatever...they are out there so make the best of it.

Frontier took over some Verizon landline services in some states a few
years ago, hence the domain name change. Nobody maliciously took your page
and put your stuff up on a new page. It's YOUR page.

I have never housed any pages at Frontier. Therefore I will not look beyond
the initial page and I didn't even want to do that. I would urge others not
to look either. If they do and something happens to their computer, don't
say that I didn't warn you. I have no clue what is there. I have had a
website in the past. I didn't switch it over when Verizon switched to
Frontier. I have Facebook now so there is no need whatever for me to have a
website. I didn't even put the FTP software on this computer and I haven't
kept up with technology so I don't even have a clue how to put one up now.
The method I was using was outdated but it is what I taught myself to do.

What I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt is that my daughter is in the 11th
grade now.

Uh. No. Perhaps it *was* my page. I only looked at the one page where it
said that Angela was in the 7th grade. She's in the 11th grade now. So
whatever is there, is old information.

Frontier took over for all of Verizon in this area except perhaps for the
wireless. I think I have seen some Verizon wireless stores.

I also had a website at Redshift which I haven't had in many, many years. I
don't know if it is still up or not. But for many years if you googled my
name, you'd see that. You'll also see me listed at a diabetes website that
for whatever reason is still up but that's very old information too. The
webmaster disappeared years ago and nobody knows what happened to him.

I looked up person the other day and she has several websites that are still
out there and yet she died back in 2009. The mere fact that something is on
the Internet doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot.

Wrong. I do not have a daughter who is in the 7th grade. She is in the
11th grade. The link that I saw posted was an old website and how it got to
Frontier is beyond me. I never FTPed anything to them. And if they started
a website with my name on it, they never informed me of it.

Not necessarily. I've had vets tell me to only feed dry food and of course
water. But if the cat is going into kidney failure then dry food is not
advised. My cats get both kinds of food.

Does it matter if it's outdated? It's still *your* page even if you've

I am not ashamed. But I also don't know anything about that website. I did
not put it up and I have never housed a site at Frontier. Therefore I take
no responsibility for whatever content is there and I'm also not going to go
poking around on it. For all I know there could be a virus there. I'm not
saying that there is but I also don't know anything about that site and I
didn't put anything there.

So say that's true. As a parent to a minor child, do you really want to run
the risk some stranger or whomever is putting up information and pictures
about your own child?! Isn't that a greater risk than some potential
computer virus?! And you just sit back and don't check it out?! You are

But it's still YOUR page and YOUR daughter's information for all the world
to see. Just because you don't maintain it, didn't take it down or convert
it doesn't make it any less your page. Don't try and fool anyone that
someone else somehow took your pictures and created a "new" website with
them. And for the record, there is information on Verizon's website about
where to go to delete those old websites. You're just too lazy to do it.
Meanwhile, there's your underage daughter's name, birthdate and pictures
for all the world to find.

I didn't take it down because I never put it up!!!!

I admit that I used to have a website. I will not look at *that* website
because I did not do it. Therefore I have no clue what content is there or
if it is even safe.

When I did have a site up and running, I did have pics on it. I am not
ashamed or embarrassed about anything that was on there and I had everyone's
permission to put the pics up. If you have a problem with that, I don't
care. Countless other people have done the same thing.

Stick a fork in it.

I actually feel sorry for you because you are pretty screwed up. So
somebody put up old information. So? Like I said... Used to be when I
searched for my name I got an old website that was housed at Redshift. And
I said that I searched for the name of a person who died in 2009. Some of
her old websites are still up too. That's kind of how the Internet works.
I can't explain the Frontier thing but I'm also not going to waste my time
on it except to tell people here that I didn't do it. How Bryan came up
with it, I do not know. For all I know, he could have done it. Just don't
click on it is all that I have to say on that matter.

took dance classes until she was that age too. Is she a dancer now?

That's not my website, sf. I don't know who did that and no, I'm not going
to investigate it. The pics there are from when she was in the 6th grade.
She's in the 11th grade now.

I used to have a public website. Lots of people did. That's what we did
prior to Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I have no need for a website now.
And in fact don't have one. And now that I think about it, whatever that
link was, it didn't say "frontier.com". There was something that preceded
the frontier part. Could very well be something that Bryan or whoever
posted it, did. I assume that it was Bryan who did it but he's in my KF so
not sure.

I did just do a search of my name and no such website came up so...

What part of Frontier took over Verizon aren't you getting?! It's still
your website just with a new domain name. No one on God's green earth put
up your old information. The only screwed up one here is you. And yes, if
you looked up what I am telling you, you'd easily find out that what I am
saying is true and information on how to take it down. Or not, your
choice, but you are really showing your stupidity by asserting someone else
cares enough about you to create a website with your daughter's info.

How in the world can *I* delete something that someone else did? All I know
is that I didn't do it and a search of my name does not bring up that site.
Whatever that site is could be some sort of malware or virus. I am just
sorry that I clicked the link to begin with as my better judgment told me

Actually, it's *not* my problem. I didn't do whatever it is. I do not have
a website now despite what anyone else here claims. And I will not go back
and look again because I have no clue what that website is. I can only
advise others not to click on it as well.

It's kind of like when Sheldon puts up links claiming that they are pics of
certain people when they are not. How is that the problem of the person who
he claims the pic to be? He'd the one who did it. Just like whoever put up
this bogus website. They did it. Not me.

No. It's not. I never put up a website with frontier. Nor did I give them
permission to put one up for me. I also know that ISPs won't take down old
information just because you tell them to do so. People were complaining to
me when my old Redshift information was still up, years after I moved away.
I did contact Redshift and was told there was nothing they would do about
it. Things were purged every so often and until they did that, the site
might be up years later.

You are making much ado about nothing. Go ahead and do a search for my
name. You won't find that website Not very quickly anyway. Now why don't
you just drop it.

I guess the message from Julie is that she will not risk her computer
(virus maybe) to protect her daughter. That definitely rules out
anything else that would put Julie's life or comfort at risk to
protect her daughter. You and I and others here see this site as a
danger to the daughter, particularly if someone is messing with it.
Julie only sees it as an inconvenience to herself.

It's HIS fault for the vile, nasty things he's said about a young girl who
has never once posted to this newsgroup. I've never agreed with Julie
posting things about her husband or her daughter and have told her so many
times, but people that stoop to making remarks like Bryan does about her are
just sickos, and Bryan's remarks are much worse than anything that Andy ever
said IMO.

It looks quite a bit like your old website from years ago, but the other one
was more detailed with music etc., and your daughter was younger in the
older one IIRC. At any rate, I think she's talented and pretty from the pics
I've seen through the years.

Thanks. I will reply to you as I know that you mean me no harm. I will no
longer put up pics here due to exactly the sorts of things that are
happening in this thread. But you of all people here would know what she
looks like because I am a rather public person, if you will and I don't try
to hide anything from anyone.

And why in the world would I put my computer at risk for any reason? I am
not a computer expert or an Internet expert or any other kind of expert. My
clicking on something isn't going to solve anything at all.
