Oh no! Okay, why not. LOL

http://i59.tinypic.com/m9ugwl.jpg

Rotini cooked with chopped broccoli tossed with there is no such thing
as Parmesan or alfredo sauce. Seasoned with a sprinkling of dried
Italian herb blend. Fancy, no. Tasty, you betcha! Photo worthy, hardly.

Tomorrow I plan to cook a couple of catfish fillets. I haven't decided
yet whether pan fry or bake them. Might or might not take pictures.

I wouldn't eat it either even if I could eat chicken. Which I can't.
Cats won't eat chicken either. They'll only eat tuna. It looked akin
to SPAM which I hate! I am not much of meat eater at all. And
certainly would never eat that.

More recently, Doris suggested she didn't *have* to serve turkey just
because it was Thanksgiving. She suggested maybe roast chicken instead.
The scoffing reply: "Oh that would make sense. Since we *really*
don't like chickens. So... roast them and then just throw them away?
Right. I don't think so. At least turkey is something we will all eat
once or twice a year."

She also said, "I like this boxed gravy. And I bought precooked turkey
on purpose." Uh huh.

Then no one would eat the turkey whatever it was she made. This pretty
much sums it up.

Right. And then the food intolerances changed. Now I can't have potatoes,
corn, barley, chickpeas, walnuts, basil and probably a few other things that
escape my mind as I don't eat enough of them for me to remember. I gained
back tuna, chicken, basil, mint and oats. Dairy and eggs are still a no go
as is rye.

The frustrating thing about this type of intolerance is that they can come
and go which is why I got retested. I'd been having stomach pains and
couldn't related it to any one food. And the reason why? Because my
stomach and headache reactions are coming 2-3 days after I have eaten the
corn and potatoes. I have not yet tried the other foods on the list and
probably won't. I can live without those things.

The interesting thing though is that they were raising my blood sugar. So
that in and of itself is a reaction that I hadn't counted on. I knew that
rye did it. Also knew that barley and lentils did it but did not know why.
I do not test as being intolerant to lentils. But the improvement in my
blood sugar after stopping the corn and potatoes is amazing and astounding!
And no, it has nothing to do with carbs. I am still eating bread, pasta,
rice and other carbs and they are not a problem.

Do I like chicken? No. You will never see me posting about eating a piece
of chicken. I use canned chicken in my soup because I can kind of moosh it
down and mix it in well.

Right. Nobody here likes roast chicken. As I said and have always said, I
make my soup with canned chicken. And I don't care about any of the nasty
thoughts that anybody here might say about that.
>

I did! I tried to cook a turkey breast from scratch once. The end results
were not edible. I will not roast a whole turkey. Nobody would carve it
and most of it wouldn't get eaten. Turkey *is* traditionally served on
Thanksgiving and so I do serve it. I just don't want a whole lot of it and
I can no longer buy what I used to because it has either corn or potato in
it. I can't remember which. I can eat the gravy. It's fine.
>

Pretty much sums *what* up? You keeping track of my posts? I bought a new
product. Cooking Light turkey. I don't really *like* any kind of turkey,
but then I don't really *like* any kind of meat. And I do need to eat some
once in a while. To me, it tasted fine. As in not icky. Husband and
daughter just didn't like it. I can't say why. They didn't seem to know
why.

So I guess next year, if that product is still available, I will buy one
package of it for me and then the other kind that I used to buy for them. I
can't eat that kind and I had wanted to avoid having to do two different
meats. But apparently that won't work.

Since I don't have an Android, that wouldn't work. And I don't expect
anyone here to keep up with them but neither do I expect them to torment me
because of them. Especially when one of those people is currently having
stomach issues herself!

My "stomach issues" (not what it is) don't include a 10 page list of
things I won't eat. I'm simply not hungry much of the time. Big
difference.

Earthworms work hard and are very useful but they are very picky
eaters, they mostly injest soil and eat some decaying matter but they
primarilly subsist on the micro organisms in the soil that break down
organic matter. Didja know that the earthworms on this planet weigh
more than all the other living things together.

And I'm never hungry either. You don't need a list since you have two broad
categories. Cold foods and nuts/seeds.

I don't need a list. My not liking cold food is a *preference*.
Avoiding nuts/seeds is recommended and has served me well. I have no
food intolerances or allergies. You cannot compare these things.

I posted that fact with citations before... the dwarf has short and
selective memory. You probably never heard of Charles Darwin... I
suggest you search <Charles Darwin and Earthworms>. I don't feel like
taking the time to look further:

Here is a short quote from your cite:
"In native forests the weight of earthworms has been found to be greater
than that of all other animal groups in the area, including birds and
mammals.
In grazed, fertile pastures the earthworm weight may also exceed that of
the grazing animals. The mean weight of earthworms in some of New
Zealands best agricultural soils ranges from about 640 to 3,000
kilograms per hectare. Compare this with 15 sheep per hectare, weighing
about 800 kilograms in total."

First of all, it talks about native forests and fertile pastures with
grazing animals. There are vast areas of the planet that are not fertile
and where there are slim pickings for works. They don't do well in much
of northern Canada where the land is solid rock or muskeg with very
little soil in which they cold live. Close to 20% of Africa and much of
Australia is desert. Their comparison of the the mass of earthworms to
sheep excludes all the insects living there, along with the many
critters that are preying on the worms.
