The main nice thing is you can have them handy if you do not shop often so do not have fresh ones ready to use. For now I am making up 2 recipes (weekend cooking, planned leftovers for the week) and neither are seafood based but if I had a fast munchie desire, I'd use those if handy. They are neither great, nor terrible. They are a notch above canned ones but i don't knock canned ones if that is what is around in a landlocked area. We use snows canned clams all the time to upscale a tuna salad. Works for us! Carol -- |
