Has anyone here heard of this type of store? Someone had told me that the
property where Lynnwood (WA) High School once was is going to be a Costco. This person sometimes gets things wrong and I hadn't hear this from anyone else, plus I thought this didn't sound like a good location given its proximity to the Alderwood Mall. It already has serious traffic jams. But my hairdresser confirmed that not only will it be a Costco, but a Super Costco. However, she did not know what this meant. I did try to look it up. This story does confirm that there will be a Costco and they are putting in a new road so that will help. http://www.theheraldbusinessjournal....BJ02/140809955 But the only information I can come up with about a Super Costco, also referred to as Costco Extra! are only things I see on forums where people are discussing this and some sources say that what is being discussed is bogus information. I can't come up with anything that seems for real about this. It is also possible that my hairdresser was wrong on this. |

There's not even a Walmart within 40 miles of here.

At 150,000 square feet, the proposed new Costco would be just a normal sized one. "Average" does notsound like "Super" or "Extra!" The largest US Costco -- in Hillsboro, Oregon -- is one-third bigger at 200,000 square feet. But I am unaware that even that one is called "Super" or "Extra!" |
