Default Super (Extra!?) Costco?

Has anyone here heard of this type of store? Someone had told me that the
property where Lynnwood (WA) High School once was is going to be a Costco.
This person sometimes gets things wrong and I hadn't hear this from anyone
else, plus I thought this didn't sound like a good location given its
proximity to the Alderwood Mall. It already has serious traffic jams. But
my hairdresser confirmed that not only will it be a Costco, but a Super
Costco. However, she did not know what this meant.

I did try to look it up. This story does confirm that there will be a
Costco and they are putting in a new road so that will help.

But the only information I can come up with about a Super Costco, also
referred to as Costco Extra! are only things I see on forums where people
are discussing this and some sources say that what is being discussed is
bogus information. I can't come up with anything that seems for real about
this. It is also possible that my hairdresser was wrong on this.

Yes. I saw that but it seemed kind of iffy.

There's not even a Walmart within 40 miles of here.

At 150,000 square feet, the proposed new Costco would be just a normal
sized one. "Average" does notsound like "Super" or "Extra!"

The largest US Costco -- in Hillsboro, Oregon -- is one-third bigger
at 200,000 square feet. But I am unaware that even that one is called
"Super" or "Extra!"

The Super Walmart in Albany, NY is 260,000 sqft. There is no Costco
near here, but there are Sam's Clubs and BJ's

I hadn't heard that term before either. I think she was just confused.
