Default Salmon Patties for Dinner (2/1/2015)

I guess this is my "superbowl" dish. (I watched the Kitten Bowl on the
Hallmark channel, much more fun!)

Here's a shot of them cooking:

Out of the pan:

If I had any type of soft bun I could easily turn them into "sliders".
<wink>

Is it 2015 or 1955? (Which is when my mom learned to make
salmon patties, if I'm not mistaken.)

I see pork tenderloin at the store (about 1/5 the diameter) but
not that cut.

I guess I don't have to tell you pork tenderloin isn't the same thing as
a pork loin, right?

I learned from my mom who was surely making them before I was born
(1960). That doesn't them a bad thing.

Sometimes I make them with salmon and sometimes with white fish. Depends
what I feel like on the day

An outside job for me this week. Today it's raining. Tomorrow looks to
be too cold to work outside. If so, I'll finally make my lasagna.
Will also make some chicken stock from the on-sale chicken I just
bought this morning.

Get this crazy winter weather here.....rain and high of almost 60F
today. Tonight, rain ending and temps plummeting down to about 25F.
Tuesday, sunny but only high of about 36F. Wednesday, sunny and a high
of 50F. Then temps plummenting again Wed night and chance of snow on
Thursday with high about 33F. It's crazy! arrrghhh!

Unlike most others, I still use dialup internet access..it saves me
about $25 per month but I'm not going to download an almost 2mb pic
just to see a pic of a pork loin.

Well...I just did download it while reading other posts. As
expected...a pic of a typical pork loin and not worth all the
bandwidth. It does look good though. :-D

cole slaw and some of tert's easy bbq sauce

our guests brought garlic bread, pasta, potatoes, plus veggies, dolmas ...
etc so it ended up being a minor feast

I think my food coma was a result of me just snacking until about 2:30
and then overwhelming my system with calories
