I saw a lady use one for the Munich-style beer radishes, years ago.
Similar to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lnv39Za0leU
Also good for potatoes (one long potato chip), apples, and other
vegetables.

Yet another device I was serenely ignorant of. Until now.

The Summer vendors are fond of taking a single potato, spiral cutting
it, deep frying it, then selling it to hungry rubes for $5! Even at
retail prices, that's 400+% profit.

I have one of those for apples. It peels, cores, and if you want, slices the apples or potato. It the most fun you can have in the kitchen! I've never seen one that slices so thinly though. Thanks for the link.
