Beans are soaked and I'll be doing a version of Tomato-White Bean Soup
- not sure what else, I'm fighting off a cold at the moment. Time for
another cough suppressant.

LOL!.....

Reminds me of the time when I was still learning about wine. Went to
a local vineyard that specialized in Syrahs and Pinot noirs, for a
tasting. I asked for a red that was "chewy". They gave me a PN that
was to-die-for. Then another lady --who was probably as dumb as
myself-- asked me, "Is chewy a proper wine term?" I never answered
her, thinking what a dolt she was asking about the rather clever term
I'd jes made up on the spur of the moment. What was even funnier is,
I later learned "chewy" is, indeed, a proper wine description term.
That, or I actually did invent a new term and didn't realize it.

If you mean: "What is a cl"
A "cl" or centilitre = 10cc, i.e., 1/100th of a litre (NOT LITER)
Now that's not hard, is it?

"Liter" is a volumetric measure. No such thing as a "cubic liter".

I would suspect so..though I have seen them totally separate from
Woolworths supermarkets. I used to use them three years ago because they
were much more convenient than Dan Murphy. Now Dan Murphy is closer by a
small margin and the prices are a tad better.

No, it's the tax factor. Half the price is taxes (excise duty and

"liter (plural liters)
US spelling of litre One cubic decimeter."

We don't begrudge you all the extraneous -- and pointless -- U's you
throw seemingly randomly into words, so you can give us a pass on liter.
