Default Perhaps "Old Dog Face" Jill McQuown does not know the definition of "shilling."

One wonders if she's still trying to make herself up like a teenager from
the 1970s. http://recfoodcooking.com/mug/shot/Jill%20McQuown.jpg

And Jill,
Since it irritates your dried up spinster ass, I won't hesitate to quote
Winter any time I see an opportunity.

Perhaps if you wish to critique someone's writing, you could take care to
use a word that you are familiar with, or if you want to use a word that
is beyond your usual lexicon, you could look up the definition so as to
not make a fool of yourself.

And anyone else who objects, you can go **** yourselves too. Whatever you
think of my writing, you certainly can't accuse me of subterfuge, having
anyone "shill" for me, nor creating fictitious reviews, which I'm sure would
have been easy to do. Also, while I did ask folks to read my story, I also
asked that no one pay for it, but instead to read it for free on the
designated *free* days.

I never suggested that those who disliked my novel lacked taste, or said
anything like, "You just didn't get it." I do know of one person here who
read it and said that (s)he enjoyed it, and I suggested that the person not
share that praise on this NG because the copy that the person read was
emailed privately, and prior to my Kindle release.

Whatever my talents, or lack thereof as an artist, my integrity as an artist
is above reproach, and Jill, it was sickening of you to use Janet's words to
attack me in a way that Janet did not, and would not have done herself.

Here are Janet's exact words:

"He is now a published author and for that, not the content of the book,
he deserves kudos."

and

"I have been editing manuscripts for a local publisher these past 6
months and I firmly believe that there are many authors who did not show
up for comma and apostrophe lessons in English class.

Correcting commas and apostrophes is about 90% of my editing."

Janet, TTBOMK, did not read the book, and her comments were about the
misuse of commas in general. She also wrote:

"Congratulations, Bryan! What an accomplishment! You and your
photographers should be very proud."

Janet Wilder and I did not know each other well, and never communicated
privately, but I don't ever recall any outright hostility between the two
of us on this NG, and it was at best *unseemly* for you to twist her words
to attack me.

It would be good if an evil fairy snuck into your room and put fiberglass
in your beatoff lubricant, and also made a poopoo on your pillow.
