You have been a model of decorum, restraint, and astoundingly good humor! I'd be honored to have someone like you as my neighbor, and remain pleased to read your pleasant posts here. No deception there, you're unique, offer viewpoints that seem contrarian, but the reality of what you say and how you share it is not to be dismissed. I think, in the final analysis, you're simply to honest for many here to tolerate. Therein lies their spite for you. In a world of liars and frauds, is there room for a truthful person? No. |

I suppose that step is cooking. Then again I have seen Tater Tot recipes that call for raw ground beef. I never made it like that. And after I had to give up cream soup, I did have to get creative for the sauce. It sometimes involved my cooking something of my own devising but... I would not really call either one cooking. It is making dinner. |

And although I do use a very lean ground beef, the beauty of using the dried onions is that they will soak up whatever grease is in there. Of course if for some reason I had to use a fattier beef, I would drain some off. This is the best beef I have ever tasted. It's organic and I buy it at Walmart. It's very tender and certainly not at all dry. You could use fresh onions in this but it would change the texture. There are just some things I prefer the dried in and this is one of them. And I like this version much better than the one using the dried onion soup. Then again, I never really liked dried onion soup... |
