Default Grilled Dinner 5/16/2015

Grilled Italian sausage links with zucchini and yellow squash.

Here's the squash, ready to grill. Split lengthwise, lightly brushed
with vegetable oil and seasoned with S&P:

Then grilled nicely

The sausage, nicely charred:

All together now!

I'll get three meals out of this. Grilled sausage and squash freeze
quite nicely.

Hmmmm. Someone needs to point out right about now I don't actually cook
anything. LOLOL

Looks wonderful. I had an uncle who used to "drop by" for a visit at
just the time when my mother was serving dinner. She did not object and
always invited him to stay (an invitation he invariably accepted). Your
meal looks like one that would have delighted him.

Looks great. The squash looks perfectly grilled, and the sausage is
exactly how I like it, a bit charred.

Looks great!

I made a meal I enjoyed today too, but it was one of those situations
where I didn't have time to take pictures. I grilled fingerling
potatoes, mixed them with beans and a dressing that was basically a
seasoned lemon vinaigrette + a little honey. Served it with boneless
leg of lamb that had a wet rub of (fresh) garlic, (fresh) oregano,
EVOO and lemon (juice & zest), roasted at high heat on convect to
develop a nice crust and then rested to continue the internal cooking.
The result was something for everyone. Those who don't like anything
pink had what they like, those who like pink got it and I got mine
rare.
