I do that with my favorite soup - Chinese Hot & Sour soup. Too much trouble to make it myself with all the exotic ingredients so I just get a pint or a quart of takeout whenever the mood hits me. g. |

You're the one who somehow got the idea that I was going to move in with you - and you posted that to RFC just out of the total blue. After having met you twice at casual austin.food gatherings 2 or 3 years ago and not giving you any indication that there was any sort of romantic interest in the least, you somehow twisted that into MY MOVING IN WITH YOU? That was just way too Psycho for me. I sat there at stared at the screen for at least 15 minutes wondering, WTF? That was just way too spooky. I've met weird, semi-psycho women before but you win, hands down. Reilly's rather than romantically obsessing over me for 2 years. Needless to say, you need to come to terms with what happened and why your mind works that way and stop making up excuses for your fixation and disappointment before we become the next Yoli and Michael. I'd prefer you use a sniper rifle on me from a few hundred yards away. There you go - a reason for you to buy yet another gun and ammo. And Jeremy, I was just tired of your decade of bullshit and visions of grandeur about all these things you're "working on" or have not done in the past. Even posting a call for meetings with imaginary people about imaginary projects of yours at "the normal time and place", as if you are somebody important with a life. I'm pretty sure you're manic depressive mixed with habitual liar. Sorry I don't fit either of your Ideal Psycho Pal Profiles. -sw |

I have probably mentioned that one of my rescue dogs is blind (Glaucoma, went blind 2 years before we adopted her). Well e have a thunderstorm brewing and her idea of 'hiding' is pretty unique! She just dragged her favorite cat bed (she's a small beagle) out from the normal place (they always find me and pet me there) to what she thinks is a hidden spot (middle of the living room floor). Grin, she's a cutie. http://s1134.photobucket.com/user/cs...g.html?sort=3& o=1 Right now she's in the brown one. She and the Cat take turns. Carol -- |

Yeah, like I have been reading for several hours now and who ever La Mirada is, there was only one polite post. It was to John Kuthe on a recipe. The rest seem autoposted by a rule insults. I am not the sort to kill file (I just skip by) but I do remove those with no purpose in life except to spam or otherwise abuse others. I have no idea what the rabbit bit is with you that he brings up unless he's a vegetarian and you raise rabbits for food? If you do raise rabbits for food, if you have no use for the ears they are a very sellable treat for dog treats. They get dehydrated and dogs love them! Shave the fur off obviously :-) Strip to 1/2 inch long bits then cross cut to 1 inch for larger treats, less for smaller treats. Personally, I'm eating Bambi today ;-) Carol -- |

I do the same at some types of foods. Generally Don and i enjoy cooking but if Lumpia was more reasonably priced, I might buy it. Reality is you can make 50 LARGE lumpia for about 7$. The only hassle is separating the liners if you use the real paper thin ones that crunch up to perfection. If you cheat and use the thicker spring roll, they go pretty fast. Say, 20 minutes to roll 50 once wrapper is separated. So, because they want 45$ for 50 SMALL ones here, I make my own. Carol -- |

And just what do you think would have happened if I hadn't paid that bill? I don't really know but I presume they would stop picking up my trash, then eventually I would be taken to court. The trash company wasn't going to do anything retroactive. They flagged my account so that now they will pick up no extra trash unless I tell them to and they told me to call the Sheriff. Both they and the Sheriff told me to keep an eye on things as well. The problem immediately stopped when I spoke to the neighbors. I know it wasn't the other two because they always put cans out. The one I suspected never did and now he has his trash trailer back. Can I prove it was him? No. Just seems a bit obvious. Or if not him, someone who works for him. I suspected him before when it was a case of some weird, building material stuff that filled up most of the can. It didn't come from us and when they emptied the can, it didn't come out. So I had a looksie inside. They had put really thick plastic, the kind that might cover a pallet and pushed it down so hard that it was stuck. Only reason I suspected him was that he was the only person to have done building work at that time. |

I think that's not incorrect either, and you're not the only one doing so. I also think that stream of consciousness writing has a certain flair to it. Not many can carry it off well, Jack Kerouac certainly did. |

You're writing about your daily experiences and feelings about that. I'm sure using this as a blog. I expect that my kids and their kids will be reading this in the future when I'm long gone. The reason I suspect that most blog sites have a limited lifetime. The redundancy and decentralization of Usenet gives it a better chance of surviving into the future in one form or another. The indexing of posts by Google just amplifies it's usefulness. It don't matter to me if you consider yourself to be blogging or not, most people don't. All I know is that I understood how it could be used as a blog early on. |

Grin, not a sweater. She's a tri-color classic beagle. AKC registered at birth actually. Iowna Link. She was a show winner in agility trials before glaucoma got her at age 9. We got her 3 years ago at age 11. BTW, if you flipped about that photobucket, you will also see Aunti Mabel (now passed on age 20.5). She was also a tri-color beagle but you can see she had a very thin delicate nose/jaw in comparison. Aunti Mabel was deaf after years of ear infections (due to allergies) when we got her age 18. At least, 18 was the lowest age 5 vets would go with for her when we adopted her. No, its not a record breaker for beagles. Elderly for sure, but there are older ones by far. Carol -- |
