Don't count on it. She was here before with another nick and I had her
filtered. She seemed to be ok when she came back and I thought she had
changed her nick because she had changed her style and she even talked
aboutfood for a while, but I see she is back to her usual nasty self.

There is so much poison here now, it resembles a cess pit. I wish there
was somewhere else I could go to talk about food (not on facebook)

Or just the kind of vitriol that they are searching for. No lack of that
here. They can fill their boots. A very few people discuss food without the
nastiness, and I admire them and am very grateful.

Oh, heck yeah. We get mainly raccoons and possums, although a few
years ago we had a coyote hanging around our backyard one winter.
Must have been slim pickings for him; I caught him eating bird seed
at least once.

The siding?

The only thing that building codes say about siding is that
"Exterior walls shall provide weather protection for the building".

Your siding would have to be pretty rotted out to fail that standard.

I probably wouldn't buy a house with rotting siding, either. However,
if the house were otherwise attractive (good neighborhood, nice
kitchen, acreage) and appropriately discounted for the condition
of the siding, I wouldn't hesitate to buy. I believe your house
fails on all of the things I look for in a house, not just the
siding.

LOL No, because the person who worked so hard to kill it would simply come
back
and start all over again. Why do you think people left in the first place??
In that place people got sick of it, they didn't simply join in as they do
here. I will hang on and wait for food discussions

What have you been cooking today? The weather is very hot here and I made
salads. I cooked some kangeroo steak for my hubby for the first time but he
didn't like them much. He said they are a cross between beef and liver.
Otoh I got some moose steaks the other week which he loved I must look
out for them again.

I never heard of an instance of signing an agreement to not sell a
house one owns (that would be illegal), so long as all liens are
satisfied it can be sold, that's the primary reason there are
closings. Everything Bove claims proves more and more that she does
not own that house, she rents, and she can't sell a house she rents.

I am trying to make new friends outside of Facebook while applying the same
principles. Therefore every day, I go out to the street and tell a passerby
what I have eaten, how I feel, what I have done the night before and what I
will do after. I show them pictures of my grandchildren, my sons, and me
gardening and spending time practising with my ukulele. I also listen to
their conversations and tell them OMG when they say anything surprising.

And it works: I already have 3 people following me:

2 police officers and a psychiatrist.

It depends on the holiday here. Just about any time from mid December on
I can put things outside while I defrost the freezer. I can stick things
in the car while I clean the fridge. By the time Christmas comes around
you have to be careful about leaving food and beverages outside if you
want it to cool.It might freeze.

It does get cold out there. I warned my son about the extreme cold when
he went out there with his girlfriend to visit her family in Saskatoon.
When he called home the first time he said it wasn't so bad..... -15 C.
The next time he called he said he had been out in the garage with his
girlfriend's brother. When he tried to take a sip of beer it froze in
the neck of the bottle.

Had nothing to do with the code. I can't remember what the name of this
siding is. It isn't T1-11 though. There was some sort of big to do, maybe
a lawsuit, not sure with this type of siding of this age but my husband had
some siding company come out and look at it and say that it didn't apply to
this.

The siding was not rotting. That is just the excuse that the real estate
agent used for why potential buyer bailed out at the last minute. It wasn't
a pretty situation at the time. My husband was like a kid in a candy store
to buy a house. I didn't want to buy one at all and would have much
preferred to rent an apartment. But he was hell bent on buying. It was the
wrong time to buy, we had very limited time because we had to find something
before school started and we had very specific parameters. Had to be a
certain sq. ft., two bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and no stairs. Houses like that
are hard to find in this area, especially with the small amount of money we
had to spend. Most houses were selling for $50-100,000 more than we had.

I do Facebook but this particular group leaves such a bad taste in my mouth,
I would never join them on Facebook. I was told that the chat here was nice
too. It wasn't.
