It is seltzer water that I have. But if it was club soda, I wouldn't worry about the salt either. I always heavily salt any deep fried food so a little salt in the tempura batter is baby stuff. ![]() |

Are they those triangular traps that you let sit for awhile them pull up? Buy yourself a real (commercial) crap pot and fill the bait part with tuna. I used to throw one out overnight and get about 4 dozen just in less than 12 hours. Rudee Inlet was my primo crabbing spot years ago. I could put out 4 lines baited with chicken pieces and never relax. Within an hour, I could fill a 5 gallon bucket with crabs (about 4 dozen). Back when I was married, I did that often. We ate all the crabs we wanted to all season. At the end of the season, we ended up with 28lbs of crabmeat in the freezer, all frozen in 1/2lb bags. That winter we tried all kinds of crab recipes. Sadly all that area has private property now. No where to park and all the good crabbing areas have private boat docks. I remember when Croatan was totally vacant. Now all available property is houses and manicured yards. They ruined it all. G. |

That’s what blowback is all about. It seems like such a simple concept, but many of Ron Paul’s opponents for the Presidency vehemently denied its validity. They proclaim that what our military does abroad has no effect on how the citizens of the world feel towards us. The 9/11 terrorists hated our wealth and freedom so intensely that they sacrificed their lives to prove it? (Of course, our government bombing their countries, propping up their dictators and supplying their enemies with money and weapons had nothing to do with it…) Instead of securing our borders, we’ve been planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression. Our military is spread thin all across the planet, yet we remain involved in dangerous power plays that unnecessarily put the lives of our soldiers at risk. And we brazenly squandered the wealth of our nation as if there were no tomorrow. It doesn’t make any sense unless you consider increasing the profits of the military-industrial complex to be in the “national interest”, no matter what the cost to the rest of us may be. America first. That is what Ron Paul‘s national defense proposal is all about. And with America he means all Americans, not just the elite. If elected President, Ron Paul will continue his efforts to secure our borders, safely bring our troops back home, and finally overhaul the intelligence apparatus in cooperation with intelligence professionals rather than political opportunists. Ron Paul loves America. He is one of the very few true patriots left in Washington who are actively working on protecting our freedoms, our lives and our dignity. |

I'd think anyone over the age of seven would find those shows retarded. I used to like The Magic Cottage, in fact I still would... He's got simple type pots and we have chicken pieces as well as squid ready for tomorrow. I don't actually go, as it's Don's time away from the house and us 'wimmin'. (Lol, he brings the only other male with him, Cash the amazing beagle-bull mastiff looking fellow). Meantime, Charlotte, Iowna (dog) and Daisy-chan (cat) and I kick up our heels with the music high and lots of silly sloppy romance movies. It's our vacation too! Carol -- |
