This is usenet. What do you expect to happen?

I began on the Internet before there was a World Wide Web, and my
username initially was Gunga The Intrepid, and I began on Usenet. As
time went on I eventually began to see the folly of lack of personal
responsibility on the Internet, and changed my username to my real
name, in an effort to TAKE some personal responsibility for my posts.

The climate on the Internet has never changed. We still have Anonymous
AHoles or as we call them here Sock Puppets who because of their
self-perceived anonymity feel free to unleash the monsters in their
psyche and say any stupid damn fool beligerant thing their inner
monster feels like. The very human inner evil I switched to using my
real name to try and stymie!

There are those who use their real names and still unleash their vomit.
Believe me, I had it for years. Others have seen it now too which is ...

Picking a name can also tell things unintended to others. For example,
intended or not, you used a name that speaks to poison. The other
choice is an ax murder (she may have been right). If you like the fact
that this associates to your posts, then that is how you want it to be.
Folks will take that at face value and treat you based on it.

If you shifted to 'lizzy' or something else you like with less
connotations, you'd find usenet a bit more easy going and more apt to
make real friends. As it is, some stand back due to the name itself
you use. No blame, just fact.

You didnt read the message well did you? Thats exactly what happens.
Others who aren't into history will NOT KNOW there may be exoneration
in both cases possible.

They see you using a name they associate with a nutcase poisoner and
know no more. That you *chose* that name, is your business. That you
are unaware of it's effect, is also your problem.

Carol

At a ceremony in Dearborn, Michigan, Henry Ford is presented with the
Grand Cross of the Supreme Order of the German Eagle on his 75th
birthday. Henry Ford is the first American recipient of this, an honor
created a year earlier by Adolf Hitler. This is the highest honor Nazi
Germany could give to any foreigner and represents Adolf Hitler’s
personal admiration and indebtedness to Henry Ford. The presentation is
made by Karl Kapp, German consul in Cleveland, and Fritz Heller, German
consular representative in Detroit. Ford is the only American mentioned
in Hitler’s book “Mein Kampf”.

I have to wonder why people don't just killfile the trolls and spammers
rather than reply to them. They nymshifters are easy enough to spot.
It's not as if they're trying to be subtle.

I have to wonder why you take such inordinate pleasure in bullying Julie.

It's pretty un-evolved behavior after all.

They're in the same boat as the posters who start new threads
complaining about Julie.

Can you find "glass noodles" where you live? If so, so will like this

I can't recall ever starting a new thread about her. Then again, I'm
not a troll. You, OTOH, do very often reply to obvious trolls.

You just jump on her posts whenever the bullying mood comes upon you,
don't think others haven't noticed.

Strange as it may seem, I wasn't accusing you of anything - simply
drawing a parallel. HOWEVER, I don't appreciate you trying to pick
who I should or shouldn't reply to. You reply to known trolls, so
please clean up your own act and stop net nannying me.

Gimme a break. I k/f the nymshifters. You reply to them, thus
contributing to the problem.

You gotta wonder why they bother. I mean... they are replying to
2serial nymshifters. I have expressed my opinion about people like that
They are throwing in the towel and acknowledging that they are compete
assholes.

I have no idea who you're talking about when you say Spin & Marty. I
looked it up. Nope, I'm too young to remember the Mickey Mouse Club.

For the record, I never once even considered sleeping with you. And
you know that. You're the one who somehow got the idea that I was
going to move in with you - and you posted that to RFC just out of the
total blue.

After having met you twice at casual austin.food gatherings 2 or 3
years ago and not giving you any indication that there was any sort of
romantic interest in the least, you somehow twisted that into MY
MOVING IN WITH YOU?

That was just way too Psycho for me. I sat there at stared at the
screen for at least 15 minutes wondering, WTF? That was just way too
spooky. I've met weird, semi-psycho women before but you win, hands
down. Mapi of austin.general still holds the male title, but at least
he announced his psychosis right there lying on the floor of the bar
at B.D. Reilly's rather than romantically obsessing over me for 2
years.

Needless to say, you need to come to terms with what happened and why
your mind works that way and stop making up excuses for your fixation
and disappointment before we become the next Yoli and Michael. I'd
prefer you use a sniper rifle on me from a few hundred yards away.
There you go - a reason for you to buy yet another gun and ammo.

And Jeremy, I was just tired of your decade of bullshit and visions of
grandeur about all these things you're "working on" or have not done
in the past. Even posting a call for meetings with imaginary people
about imaginary projects of yours at "the normal time and place", as
if you are somebody important with a life. I'm pretty sure you're
manic depressive mixed with habitual liar.

Sorry I don't fit either of your Ideal Psycho Pal Profiles.
