Default Florida vs. Haas avocados?

Hi folks, am I right that the Florida (smoothe skinned and larger) ones
are best for grilling?

I got one to test it out and it either was not as ripe as needed or
seemed to match that usage better than mashed guacamole.

It's a rare side item to get here so not as used to it.

Fruit is great when it's grilled, so any port in a storm when it comes
to improving Florida avocados. If grilling works, go for it.
