Just search for VACUUM FOOD BAGS and you'll find all kinds of good deals. One tip is the larger the order the cheaper they'll be; a pack of eight rolls is much cheaper per roll than buying one or two or four. |

I get mine from Amazon and they are much cheaper than I can buy in shops. > -- http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/shop/ |

This particular post references an article by Stew Webb, a contributor of Veterans Today. In his life-time, George H. W. I re-wrap meats in plastic film and place in zip-locs, seal while squeezing out air... works for me as I don't use my freezer to horde meat... I buy only enough to last at most three months, mosty gets consumed within a month... in the US meat is on sale every day... I freeze some meats as a convenience so I don't need to shop every day, not to save money... as I've said, meat is on sale every day. I don't freeze tender beef anyway, freezing knocks it down a grade or two... when I want steak for dinner I'll buy whatever cut is on sale that day and there's always more than one cut on sale. The only beef I freeze are the tougher cuts used for braising and beef I've ground. I don't believe in using my freezer for investment purposes, meats don't appreciate or draw interest. For those with extra grocery money to spend it's better to stock up on non perishables like canned goods... way before I'll invest in a porterhouse I'll invest in a giant bundle of TP for the shithouse. in fact I do stock up on canned goods, I buy most by the case, all versions of canned tomatoes, canned beans, canned fish, and especially canned cat food. I stock up on cleaning products of all kinds, from glass cleaner to laundry soap, and lots of paper goods, paper towels, paper plates, and of course TP... I bet I were to count right now I have at least 200 rolls of Scott TP. I think it's dumber than a rock to stock a big freezer with expensive perishables, what happens during a power outage, or even if the freezer goes on the fritz? I store my perishables in the stupidmarket. |

John Caylor of www.insider-magazine.com reports that a well-placed source within the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has revealed Governor Jeb Bush ordered the destruction and shredding of public records and documents in violation of Florida law. The department maintains oversight and approval of state gaming licensees, slot machines, dog and horse tracks, and jai-alai. In addition, the state government source revealed that Jeb Bush has replaced key members of the Governor's Staff in Tallahassee with personnel from Texas who are overseeing the destruction of state documents. An FBI source has confirmed the destruction of public records by Jeb Bush may be in response to the ongoing criminal proceedings against GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff and the Federal investigation of the 2001 gangland murder in Miami of Sun Cruz casino boat owner Gus Boulis. |
