I get the fridge ones, keep in the bag they came in plus another ziplock oever that - they last for months. |

I have had the same problem and decided to start removing them from the package before I refrigerate them, flour them ever so lightly with flour hands and put them back in the package. Works like a charm. I have them around for two to three weeks and are fine. It only takes a couple of minutes. Cheers! |

I've seen various methods suggested for separating tortillas that glom together and some (to my experience) are better than others. However, I just found the most effective way yet.
Take your unopened package(s) of tortillas and place in the sunlight. Depending on ambient conditions, the number of tortillas in the package, and whether the tortillas are frozen or not, the tortillas will be ready to separate in a half-hour or so. The tortillas should feel warm before you try to separate them. I leave packages of one dozen tortillas in the sun for about 15 minutes, then turn over the package and let it soak up the sun for another 15 minutes. It seems that this methods warms the tortillas more gently and evenly than the microwave's defrost setting. They end up very easy to separate; with almost no cling at all. The result is tortillas that separate very cleanly and easily. |

Looks very tasty with that dark brown gravy but I don't think it needed rice or bread with those potatoes.... I'd smash the spuds to sop up gravy. |
