You are replying and talking to a real person with feelings here. It sounds to me like she is trying to be the best mother ever to her daughter. And she bends to her husbands wishes too. She has very different issues than many but it also sounds to me like she's a good mother and wife. Almost a "Stepford Wife" to the husband, but that's her choice. Both her daughter and husband should appreciate her efforts every day. |

The metal spring of the plastic clips will rust too, if left out in the rain... I don't leave my chitato pips outdoors. I have quite a collection of binder clips in all sizes, great for keeping huge bags of dry pet food closed, also 50 pound sacks of wild bird seed, as well as holding rolled up toothpaste tubes, bags of chips, cookies, even bread bags. Thing is those plastic clips don't hold very well, I have some but I don't like them. Also the binder clips cost much less, need far less storeage space, and will hang on a hook, the plastic ones have no opening to hang them... it's a poorly designed doodad, colorful to look impressive like porcelainized cast iron but not functional... I see no point in coating cast iron with colored glass, just use crockery/earthenware, makes a far more elegant presentation and doesn't weigh like sf's fat ass. |

No? ![]() Well, that's certainly traditional for a baked mac and cheese. It forms a nice crust, or an awful one, depending on whether you like that sort of thing. Lately, I've been adding turmeric to my cheese sauce for mac and cheese. It adds an interesting flavor that I like. Generally though, I don't bother with baking mac and cheese. While I like a crust, it's usually not worth the extra time. Maybe for a holiday meal. Bill Ranck Blacksburg, VA |
