Odd to see a knobhead like you tying themselves in knots with misguided semantics. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/barbecue 1. A grill, pit, or outdoor fireplace for roasting meat. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/grill 1. To broil on a gridiron. By DEFINITION a gas grill performs BOTH functions nicely. So, why are you such a moron? |

Surprisingly electrical outlets are often the culprit. They can be sealed up with expanding foam after shutting the breakers off. |

There are a lot of golf courses around here and almost every year some rocket scientist plays Ben Franklin in a storm. We were at the dog park last week and when a storm moved in we decided it was time to go. I learned about the sirens that day. I had not realized that golfers were so dumb that they had to use a siren, but I heard it go off that day. |

I got one as an impulse purchase at REI. I have no idea if I had a reason for it. Perhaps playing off a music stand in low-light. In any case the wife was carping during the winter about gleaning herbs and vegetables at night. I mentioned the headlamp to her, and that was the last I've seen of it. And the last of the carping too. |

Your definition didn't explicitly exclude broiling (heat from above) or baking. I just looked "barbecue" up and it just makes things more non-specific. |

Hey, I wasn't trying to talk you into it. I have a natural gas grill about 3 steps outside my kitchen door and it's under an overhang, so unless it's windy I won't get wet or need rain gear. It also has its own lights and I have lights installed that point at the grill because of a previous one that didn't have its own lights. In cold weather I don't hang around outside, I go out, turn the steak or chops or whatever and then step back inside. Don't even need a coat for the amount of time I spend out there when it's cold. But, again, not trying to convince you to do anything you don't want or like to do. Bill Ranck Blacksburg, VA |

I just wish we had this "cold weather" you speak of. |
