Default Datu Puti

Running into a supermarket, I passed a display of bundled Datu Puti
vinegar and soy sauce bottles.

"Puti" sounded familiar, so I plugged the phrase into googletranslate, and
selected "Filipino" as the source language:

Datu Puti = Rich white

To which I can only say, "Huh?"
