My mom use to make a meat pie with ground beef, mashed potatoes, and sage. I
tried making it last year for the first time and it tasted like there was something missing..Does anyone have or have you heard of a recipe like this one..? Any help would be greatly appreciated...My mom passed away 15 years ago and never left the recipe so i am going by guessing and a bit of memory. Thank MJ |

Avoid lean ground meat because fat = flavour, but too much can make it soggy and greasy. Try a little ground pork in there too. It does wonders for meat pies. |
