I remember an article in the Sunday Times (IIRC) in the early 60s
where they had analysed some LC glazes finding some nasty heavy metals
such as cadmium. LeCreuset changed their formulas overnight. I somehow
doubt the Chinese knock-off merchants are as scrupulous.
